Keep getting "this is a blank canvas" after all looks ok after install of wican on HA

Hi all,
I have reloaded my wican device (not pro) onto a new HA instance and minipc.
Everything goes fine with install of HACS and WICAN from what i see.
But as soon as i to to look at the data coming out into HA , i get this message "this is a blank canvas " ???
So from here, no matter how many times i load the device back on, using the correct ip of host name (and again , everything is accepted), i again get no data coming up on HA.
Attached is some pics that i hope will help with what must be some basic mistake that i do not understand.

I'VE JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP !.
Nothing i used to do seems to work now.
The location and firmware have errors under the entities for the wican device...

WICAN seems to be stopped with services but i cannot see what i have done wrong.
Does someone have updated instructions on how to instal wican on HA please.? (i have used the easier way to instal HACS... Is this ok?). thank you

Have updated but still no good. Still getting location and firmware as errors? Hopefully I've done something wrong. I've removed prior Wican, updated firmware. Thanks

@chrisgearo looks like you just have an empty dashboard, which is why you don't see anything.

Go to Settings -> Devices & Services -> WiCAN -> Your WiCAN

That will take you to your wican device page, this is the best place to check to see what data you have coming through. The Activity part will show all the updates as they come through

Thanks Jay-Oswald. This is where 8 found under entities, the 2 errors on location and firmware. The activity section just keeps showing everything unavailable 😕

Thank you for getting back meatpie... I have had the car powered on all times when trying to sort this to ensure no sleep. I also check status and see connected on the device ip always. I am unable to connect with the address http://device_ip/autopid_data you gave me? What must i do for this as it says site can't be reached. thank you.

i don't understand the webhooks, and don't remember this on the older wican firmware, so i disabled.. Is this ok, meatpie?, although it still did not fix the problem. Still nothing showing and again wican location and firmware under entities show red unavailable. And still cannot find how to get to the site http://device_ip/autopid_data. Sorry for being so ignorant ! :(

I am ready to give up Jay Oswald😕 I am certa8nly not competent around HA , but no matter what I do, does not present with any data on HA.
