Tag creation

Can you explain me how can i create a new tag using one of my fields in logstash o/p

Write to tags, as outlined in https://github.com/javiermatos/logstash-output-sentry#usage.
It's hard to answer your question without any context.

I had tried this
'environment' => "[tag][Environment]"

I have a filter called "serverName" in logstash . I want that as a tag in sentry for the logs.

I tried like below but it is not working.
'environment' => "[tag][serverName]"

That's somehow the wrong way around. It should be something like

sentry {
  tags => "[@metadata][sentry][tags]"
}

where you populate it in your filter section…maybe something like

mutate { add_field => { "[@metadata][sentry][tags][serverName]" => "%{[tag][serverName]}" } }
