It is mentioned in the USER GUIDE that alerts will only show if quantity of the item is LESS THAN the minimum defined.

Hence, the feature is working as intended, since alerts will only show if the quantity of the item falls below the quantity of 1 in the screenshot sent by the tester. As shown by the example below, alerts are displayed successfully if stock levels fall below the minimum quantity of 1 defined by the user.

If user wants a minimum alert message to show up immediately after declaration of alert, the quantity level should be 2 instead of 1. This can be replicated as shown:
