Any updates about future develpment?

Hi, I have read all the latest messages, but the last one is from the beginning of this year. The year is ending and Monterey seems that is ending too (12.6 version right now and 13.0 Ventura coming in a week or two).

Any updates about the situation of the IOUserSCSIParallelInterfaceController and similar frameworks?

Thank you very much for all the effort in this initiative. I don't really understand how Apple is not offering a iSCSI driver/initiatior included in the operating system, but one can wish… can I? (a iSCSI initiatior, a iSCSI target software for macOS, ZFS, etc…)

Why don't you send an e-mail or even better - just use IMs for contacting dev for soo expected response!

Hi @Bottacco, I am currently working on a replacement driver with a daemon in userspace that the driverkit driver talks to. I'll keep the thread posted. I'll have more time to work on it during the summer. Cheers

You're welcome to poke me on progress any time :) @Bottacco. It'll be a free and open source (probably GPLv2) solution of course.

It would be good to hear some use-cases for this. I'm a hobbyist with a SFP+ setup at home, so CHAP or any kind of auth isn't high up on the list of priorities for me, but if it is, please shoot me an email at randy@randyzhu.com describing your use case and I can prioritize accordingly. Any and all comments are welcome. Also, please give a shout if the GPL is an issue.
