When I look for an article with Cyrillic letters, the bot does not respond or finds something completely different.

Could you try to visit http://${wiki}.wikia.com/api/v1/Search/List/?query=${requestname}&limit=1 directly, where you replace ${wiki} with the wiki you have set the bot to and ${requestname} with the query you're trying to do? If it returns what you want reliably, it's an issue with the bot, otherwise it's a limitation of the Wikia API.

Hm, this is a somewhat tougher problem than expected. For some reason Wikia returns a HTTP 400 Bad Request when done through the bot with Cyrillic characters but it does work through their API sandbox.

In the meantime, you can use --Гордо-- to make a rawlink - this works as expected but does not do a search, just links to whatever you input (even if it doesn't exist).
