tray icons not visible in polybar

I have disabled the bar and also set force_no_tray=1 in the bar config. I have corectrl and nm-tray on the tray and bothof them are running in the backgroudn just not visible on the tray

when I am using the default bar, there is still not tray. i have it in the module section

hyprbar tray doesn't save icons between reloads.
