Hey dude,
I stumbled upon your work trying to troubleshoot a Rakit Drum Synth. Casual glance has theirs a near(complete?) clone of your clone. But I can't find their schematic, leading me here.

Could you answer a few questions to satisfy my curiosity.

Is the stack-of-trasistors-BA662-emulation-module your work?
What, exactly, does it accomplish?
Are you associated with Rakit?
Do you have a license in mind for this project or are you doing the Dan Bernstein thing? (Actually, not sure how that applies in UK). I ask 'cause I'm thinking about getting some (slightly modified) PCBs printed.

Hey Matthew Hah well I nicked the transistor circuit from Ladyada’s x0xbox which also needs to replace a BA662 with a BA6110. The circuit is a pair of “current mirrors” which are used to satisfy the different control voltage characteristics of the BA6110. This is an interesting link http://www.firstpr.com.au/rwi/dfish/TT-303/click-fix/ and explain this is an imperfect solution as it can result in “clicks” at amp transients. However while this might be a problem on a 303 it is actually desirable on a perc synth and the original PC-2 deliberately does something like to get the “attack” sound (“…a realistic sound of stick striking a skin” hmm) I don’t know Rakit and haven’t had any communications with them but I saw their synth recently and bought one out of curiosity. I do love their compact PCB based design but yeah it is almost identical to my clone and borrows several things I added myself like the sub of the center tap pot with DPDT switch/pot/resistor combo, patching in the CV using exactly the same circuit, adding the same VCA trim pot, adding the x0x current mirror, including all the suggested mods for the PCK100, even some of the wording in the blurb.. there are a couple of their own innovations too like the LFO LED and output level trim (and the natty little enclosure). I can’t complain as mine is a clone anyway of course, and I benefitted from other open source projects (x0x) so good luck to them. The only thing is IMO they should open source their design too. So yeah it is open source, borrow away and open source your own adaptation. I wonder how a matched array IC would affect that analysis. (Something like this <https://octopart.com/search?q=MPQ7053>) I think you've explained why it'd be nice to have something like CC-A-SA in the directory.
