Docs site information architecture is overwhelming on first view

A new user landing on the Solo docs site encounters a large number of top-level categories, tags, and sections simultaneously with no clear "start here" visual hierarchy. The cognitive load on first visit makes it difficult to know where to begin.

This is distinct from D14 (sidebar collapse + "Next" button), which is about navigation controls. D19 is about the information architecture itself — what sections exist and how they are presented.

Suggested fix

• Reduce the number of top-level navigation items visible on arrival; group advanced/reference content under a collapsible "Advanced" or "Reference" section.
• Add a prominent "New to Solo? Start here →" landing card or banner that links directly to the Quickstart.
• Review tag usage: if the docs tag system is surfaced in the UI, either hide it or consolidate tags.

I do think a "Starting Here" section would be useful. I will create a ticket for this.
Otherwise I don't think its too overwhelming.

Now that we have a good amount of information and real usage, I’d like to take a pass at making the docs site easier to navigate and more user‑friendly.

I’m planning to pick this up in Q3. By then, Solo Weaver should be ready for documentation, and I’ll need to revisit the docs site anyway to make space for that content, so it feels like the right time to do a broader restructure. I’ll use this issue as input when I start that work and share a proposed IA update once I have something concrete. Hope that's OK.
