BeszelAgentManager - Anyone else interested?

Hey all,

I manage quite a few Windows machine and found the existing options quite annoying / unintuitive to use, I've also tried https://github.com/vmhomelab/beszel-agent-installer, but it didn't feel complete for me.

Over the last week I've been building a new manager using a code LLM (So it's vibe code, but all checked). And I've been using it internally, and I am wondering if there is any interest in the community, hence the poll.

Here are some images attached of how it looks.

Short summary:

• It can pull the latest version and install fully using the GUI
• Automatic update is built in
• Service control
• Advanced environment table is possible
• Connection status
• Tray support for quick restart / update or to open the monitoring hub.

As someone who mainly works with the Windows Agent for most of my machines, this is looking fantastic.

Is this solution using NSSM to create a service?

Yes, it uses NSSM to create the service and maintain it (to keep it as close as the original script as possible)

Any plans on making the project public for testing?

This looks great! If you want to make it public then I'll definitely try it out and add it to the docs. Maybe even add it as an option in the install script.

I'll see if i can do some refining on friday and then i'll make it public, I just need to verify Update process and would love to have some feedback on which i can improve it on, i'll try to add more functions and or suggestions if i have some spare time!

I've just made it public, no changes yet as i haven't had time to fix some features. :)

Version 2.0.1 is out which im quite happy with it.
