The following worked for me:

pip install pycurl image
python BitBucketConverter -f console.txt

prerequisites (installation depends on your OS)
OpenSSL: after installing, I had to export the following environment variables on macOS:
export CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/opt/openssl/include
export LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/opt/openssl/lib

Pycurl: when you are using python 3.x you can install like this:
pip3 install --no-cache-dir --compile --ignore-installed --install-option="--with-openssl" pycurl
