Clean it Up! is a URL sanitizer that removes tracking parameters from links. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
Clean it Up! does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
All processing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to any server, analytics service, or third party.
- Clipboard (on your action only): When you tap "Paste & Clean," the app reads the current clipboard contents to extract a URL. This only happens when you explicitly initiate the action.
- URLs you clean: The app stores up to 5 recently cleaned URLs on your device using local storage (UserDefaults via App Groups). This data never leaves your device.
- Settings: Your preference for aggressive cleaning mode is stored locally on your device.
When you use the Share Extension from another app, the shared URL is processed locally on your device. The cleaned result is stored in local recent history (up to 5 entries) shared between the main app and the extension.
Clean it Up! does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
We do not share any data with third parties. There is no data to share — everything stays on your device.
- Recent URL history (up to 5 entries) is stored locally and can be cleared at any time using the "Clear" button in the app.
- Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
