How do I inject scripts using the Wi-Fi pineapple

I know there are ways I’m just trying to figure out the right one to use when associating the Wi-Fi pineapple with these other methods what tools are available

The WiFi Pineapple MK7 has several built-in methods for script/payload injection:

1. Evil Portal (Captive Portal)

The most common injection method — serves a fake login page to connected clients:

• Go to Modules → Evil Portal in the Pineapple dashboard
• Create or upload a portal (HTML/CSS/JS)
• When clients connect to your AP, they're redirected to your portal
• Captures credentials submitted through the form

2. MITMProxy / SSLstrip (for HTTP traffic)

Intercept and modify HTTP traffic in transit:

# SSH into the Pineapple
ssh root@172.16.42.1

# Install mitmproxy
opkg update && opkg install mitmproxy

# Run inline script injection
mitmproxy --mode transparent -s inject.py

3. DNS Spoofing

Redirect specific domains to your controlled server:

• Use the DNSspoof module
• Point target domains to your Pineapple's IP
• Serve modified content from a local web server

4. PineAP (Beacon + Association)

• Enable PineAP to broadcast SSIDs and lure clients
• Combined with Evil Portal for credential harvesting
• Enable Dogma for client association attacks

5. Custom Module Development

Build your own injection module using the Pineapple API:

Important Notes:

• HTTPS traffic cannot be easily intercepted (HSTS/certificate pinning)
• Only use on networks you own or have explicit written permission to test
• The Pineapple works best against HTTP and open WiFi networks
• Modern browsers and OSes have significant protections against these techniques

For the most effective approach, combine PineAP (to get clients to connect) with Evil Portal (to serve your injection payload).
