Wakeve is approaching store submission (release/1.0.0) with zero instrumentation for understanding how real users navigate the app, where they drop off in the DRAFT→POLLING→CONFIRMED workflow, or what features they actually need. Launching blind means months of guesswork before Phase 3 prioritization can be data-informed.
Solution
Implement a lightweight, privacy-first telemetry layer in shared commonMain that logs anonymized funnel events (wizard step completions, poll participation rates, offline sync frequency) and an in-app feedback prompt triggered after key milestones (event finalized, first poll created). Store locally via SQLDelight, batch-upload to the Ktor backend when online, with full RGPD-compliant opt-out.
Why Now
Store submission is imminent — every day without instrumentation is lost user data that should drive Phase 3 agent prioritization (Suggestions, Transport, Notifications) based on actual behavior, not assumptions.
