In the current document body structuring, the paragraph segmentation is not realized in the XML TEI when a paragraph ends with a reference callout:

This is not the case when the reference callout is follow by something, like a dot or some punctuation - so this is likely limited to ref callout as indice as above.
As the labelling itself is usually correct for all these cases, it's the decoding of the sequence which needs to be reviewed to avoid this serialization problem.
