Panning a page while zoomed in results in a page turn (tablet) #2513

Description

@xthree

What went wrong?

When a portion of the page extends past the bounds of the screen's edges ( the page does not fit the screen exactly, or when I explicitly zoom in with a double tap), and I tap, hold, and move my finger to pan the image, which it does, but if I move it too much, it changes the page. The only way to pan long distances, is to do dozens of short, pans. Touch, hold, pan, touch, hold pan, etc... This makes it impossible to use.

See video here (linked in my Gdrive due to file size limits I assume) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DDnILU2KIIvLaxjLJCrPs-zZYkMC-5AZ/view?usp=drive_link

How can we reproduce it?

  1. Open a book on a mobile device

  2. Double tap to zoom in, or turn device in landscape

  3. Touch, hold, drag to pan

  4. Note that the page turns
