GTK display issues

when selecting the Holo GTK+ theme, text becomes unreadable because it's white on white.

Yes, I'm aware of it.
For the moment, I've been working mainly on the gnome-shell theme.
I fixed some gtk+ parts a few hours ago, but still not usable though.
