Focused User Stories for iPad & Mobile Scenarios

Story 1 – Touch-Optimized Drag-and-Drop

As a student using XBuilder on an iPad without a mouse or trackpad,
I want to drag code blocks and assets using native touch gestures (tap, long-press, and swipe) instead of relying on hover-based interactions or right-clicks,
so that I can build game logic intuitively and comfortably while lying on a couch or working at a desk with just my tablet.

Story 2 – Responsive UI for Small Screens

As a young coder opening XBuilder on a smartphone during a commute or break,
I want the editor interface to automatically adapt to portrait and landscape modes — with collapsible panels, adjustable font sizes, and a full-screen game preview toggle,
so that I can clearly read code and test my game simultaneously without feeling overwhelmed by a cluttered interface on a 6‑inch screen.

Story 3 – Mobile-Optimized Code Input & Smart Completions

As a learner typing XGo code on an iPad's on-screen keyboard (or a Bluetooth keyboard),
I want XBuilder to provide aggressive auto-completion, snippet shortcuts, and a dedicated symbol toolbar for brackets and operators,
so that I can write code efficiently without constantly switching between multiple keyboard layouts or struggling to type special characters on a virtual keyboard.

Story 4 – Reliable Game Preview & Touch Control Testing

As a game designer testing my project on an actual mobile phone,
I want the in-browser game preview to run at a stable 60fps with proper touch-event emulation (e.g., tap-to-jump, swipe-to-move) and automatic viewport scaling to match my device's aspect ratio,
so that I can verify that my game feels responsive and plays correctly on the very devices my friends will use, without performance drops or distorted graphics.

Story 5 – Seamless Asset Capture from Device Cameras

As a creative kid using XBuilder on a tablet,
I want to take a photo with my iPad's camera or select an image from my phone's gallery and directly import it as a game sprite or background,
so that I can personalize my games with real-world drawings, photos, or handwritten notes without needing a separate computer to transfer files.
