How to turn on the screen by specifying an active source

This is the person who asked about turning the monitor on and off the other day.
Thank you so much for implementing the on/off feature in version 7.0! Even after realizing it would be difficult to implement myself, I just couldn’t bring myself to give up, so I’m really happy about this.
I’ve confirmed that it works perfectly in my environment. However, I apologize if I missed something, but there was a point where it didn’t seem to work properly, so I’d like to ask a question.
Is it correct that the "0" in "send 0 4" refers to the logical address of the TV, and that if I change this number to the address of the input I want to activate, the screen will turn on with that input active?
In my setup, if I use a number other than 0, the screen won’t turn on at all. When I send "0 4," the screen turns on with the input that was active just before it went into standby mode.
What I’m trying to achieve is this: when I turn on the computer while the screen is off or another input is active, I want the screen to turn on immediately with the computer’s input already active.
I apologize for the long and confusing question.

Yes, this is correct.
This command decodes to:

• 0: target logical address
• 4: 'Image View On' CEC message

The effect of this message is:

• tell the TV we have enabled our image output
  • most TVs interpret this as 'switch on to display the image'

What I’m trying to achieve is this: when I turn on the computer while the screen is off or another input is active, I want the screen to turn on immediately with the computer’s input already active.

This may need a sequence of CEC messages to be sent, and we may not have enough parameter support in the send command yet.
Looking at the spec and the code, I think you may need to:

• send the 'image view on' message
• send the 'active source' message

The 'active source' message requires the physical address of the pico-cec as a parameter.
This extra parameter is not currently supported, but is not difficult to add.

I don't currently have access to a system, but I can think about how to support this use case.
