This happens when a student doesn't configure their username in the Git-Mastery website. Since then, I have added more instructions in the website so that more of them will set the username correctly when they enable progress sync.
Nevertheless, it's also good if we can do a small tweak on the dashboard side. That is, if the username is the default placeholder [[username]], redirect the user to the normal landing page where they can enter their username. Is that easily doable?
