There are only a handful of tutorials on LES models laying out the code needed to use a variant, so basically allow 'foamlib' to run LES variants using simpler (less lines of) statements? On reflection maybe this also allows better 'optimisation studies' where LES-related parameters need to be tuned for the physical flow, as your setup/control the entire parameter search in Python? My paradigm of development is against allowing experts to control the speed of progress by allowing automatic-selection of such parameters, aiming to democratise the use of CFD. Is any of that unclear? |
