still use CMake in version 3.0?

Do you mind if we remove cmake from the v3.0 and leave just meson? Or are you still using cmake?

Hi Alberto, Personally I love meson. But I´m not so convinced. Meson is a tool that is not yet so common as cmake. thanks @yakopuz, it is not as common as CMake but it is cool. It is easy to install on all platforms (e.g., through conda install meson)

Several IDEs now support meson by default (Eclipse, XCODE as well). Other famous IDEs like qtcreator and clion (which want a CMake file) can use meson as well thanks to this simple wrapper

Customizing the build process is by far easier with meson rather than CMake. If you agree, I would propose to try to use just meson. If you miss cmake (and we cannot address your needs with meson) we can always add it back.
