GeoEQ Cap is a Windows desktop application for the bearing capacity of shallow foundations by finite element limit analysis. Instead of a textbook formula with correction factors, it solves the problem you draw — footing, soil layers, water table, loads — and returns a lower bound and an upper bound on the collapse load, both independently checked after every solve.
A tester build is now ready, and we are looking for practising geotechnical engineers to try it before the public release.
What the tester build includes
Reports from the tester build carry a TESTER VERSION watermark; the public release will be free (version 1.x).
