Desired behavior
To find the cause of low real time factors I'd like to have a profiler that's easy to use and has different data visualization capabilities. The current profiler Remotery does not provide that. I find it's user interface rather limited and somewhat difficult to use (e.g. the panes aren't resizable at all). It seems to me it was never finished.
I haven't found much discussion about it's usage, but I can't be the only one using Gazebo's profiler? Is someone else suffering?
Alternatives considered
Enhance the remotery viewer. This probably more effort than just using a modern profiler.
Implementation suggestion
There are more capable and actively developed profilers, like Optick and Tracy.
