MIDI Learn does not differentiate between MIDI Note/CC/PC Status Byte

Hello g200kg.
When I use MIDI learn to a control knob (for example sending CC74) and when I play note 74, knob moves.
I think MIDI learn does not identify the MIDI Status byte but only read data1.
