I just upgraded to Dovecot 2.4, and the xapsd configuration file options are not recognized. Rolling back to Dovecot 2.3 restores normal operation.
(Obviously, you've got much bigger problems to deal with, but I figure it's worth reporting for any users who got a certificate before Apple took down the endpoint.)
