Not all wired mesh links have a great signal strength.

This node is connected to rest of the infrastructure via an ethernet to dsl to ethernet link. they use old copper wire (analog pots) to connect from one building to the next.
The connection is okayish in download but has bad upload.
Describe the solution you'd like
This link should have a visible gradient (from light blue to purple or so) depending on link strength.
the same way it's a gradient from green to red for wireless links.
Also I'm wondering if the link will always be lightblue if there is a wired connection even if the node uses wireless due to the wired link being worse. (does it only look at the strongest link between two nodes or filter for wired links first? does it take the strongest wired link or the first wired link depending on sort order?)

I'm up for further ideas.
I want the Meshviewer to highlight TQ issues visibly. Having no gradient for wired connections hides issues with wired connections.
I'm looking for ideas how to make wired links for switched setups less "spider-like" and more like a star but I can see why that might not be ideal since it's a Layer2 network.
