Cirrus CI is shutting down

Cirrus Labs is shutting down. Their product, Cirrus CI, will go offline on June 1, 2026. So we need a new CI platform.

It isn't great because it relies on nested virtualization, but I think that the best of bad options is https://github.com/vmactions/freebsd-vm .

What about SourceHut? They offer native FreeBSD runners. I have a paid account that poudriere can use.

I've avoided SourceHut so far because it describes itself as "alpha". But if you want to try using it, I would gladly watch your progress.

I think they only run when my mirror on Sourcehut updates every 2h. Will keep an eye on it for awhile to see how well it works.. but right now there are some test failures.

I created a commit to update the README with the new SourceHut link. What about Jenkins CI ? Would it be an option under https://ci.freebsd.org/
