mpv / vulkan hangs after upgrade to drm-612-kmod

Describe the bug
After upgrading to the latest 15-stable, rebuilding packages and moving to drm-612-kmod, mpv fails to play video with the vulkan API.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Play any video with MPV, using the vulkan GPU api. Player appears to hang after trying to create some object. Can only exit with ^C.

Does this problem only pertain to Alder Lake GPUs? I can't reproduce it on my Meteor Lake GPU.

I don't have a non-Alder Lake system to test it with, but I would not be surprised if it was specific to this CPU.

This is mesa related, not drm-kmod.

Using RX 6700 XT, and there it even causes an complete panic.
