If you look at the activity menu you can have it auto connect to your rig which should also auto connect the cw keyer. Here is some screenshots I posted a while back: #640

I have auto connect for rig but it does not seem to connect the keyer.

It is necessary to define the "Assigned CW Keys" in the rig profile. Then, when your rig is started, the keyer is connected as well.
