Failure to load mod with new GMCM Version

The issue causes the mod to not be loaded and only persists when GMCM is present, loading fine under other testable conditions, including with other mods beyond the minimum required.

Jumped from GMCM manifest version 1.14.1 to 1.16.0, which is where issues began.
