Empty lines before wikilink definitions

I am currently experiencing a small problem when using Foam and wanted to ask if anyone else has the same issue before opening a bug report:

If I create a link like [[testlink.md]], Foam creates the reference at the very bottom of my file. Currently, I am experiencing an issue where the reference is not added on the next line, but instead leaves two empty lines before adding it, which causes markdownlint to be triggered every time I insert or update a link.
