Improve documentation and tackle verbosity

There is documentation in many places of the repo; we need to revisit what is written and where.

It is better to be lean and clean than having more information that does not truly help the user/developer or is not needed at all.

For example having a lot of code snippets might not provide true value to someone who wants to just use the cli or other apps. It might be better to have a separate section on how to contribute, and provide there anything dev related.
