It keeps forgetting my configs with this error:

Run

  git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
  git config --global user.name "Your Name"

to set your account's default identity.
Omit --global to set the identity only in this repository.

i always need to go to options and save it again

I would suggest setting it via CLI not much I can do

you should set your identity via git cli outside the flatpak
