Saving the same repository address without variations

It is possible to save the same repository address but with / at the end in all platforms except CKAN

What steps can be taken to reproduce the issue?

Share a resource from a project and input the address with and without / at the end

Possible ways to fix the problem (programmers)

Creating filter or enabling only one option during bookmark creation

Dendro should validate this on Bookmark creation to prevent repositories with invalid uris from being created? but this is a slipperly slope, because there can be http and https variations of the same repository address...
