Can you make an example of how to use cookies in the program? Do I need to specify the path to the cookie in the settings? The txt file format?

@fe80Grau Are we able to specify a cookies file in ytdlp2strm's settings? If not, where do I place the cookies file so yt-dlp will automatically see it? Is it just directly in ~/.config/google-chrome or some subdirectory?

Update: It seems that it will only auto-read the database of the cookies, unless you pass in the cookies file manually. It looks like the only way for this to work is having a setting so that ytdlp2strm can pass the cookies file to yt-dlp.

Looks like the value of "cookies" in the ytdlp2strm youtube config json is just set as an option to ytdlp.

The following works for me with cookies.txt exported from firefox

a clarification, declaring cookies breaks data fetching, the dash in 1080p and above is obtained using ios endpoints and according to yt-dlp/yt-dlp#11952 (comment) it is no longer supported. So I recommend using ytdlp2STRM without setting cookies to always get the dash in maximum quality
