SoftN Examples is released under the Apache License 2.0 (see LICENSE).
These applications and the scripts under scripts/ were developed in
f2i-com/softn.com as its apps/demo
workspace and moved here on 6 September 2026. Their earlier history is in that
repository.
The games' sound effects are synthesized by scripts/sfx-lib.cjs from the
recipes in each bundle's assets-src/; none are recordings. AI Chat and
TheOffice download a language model from Hugging Face when they are first run,
under that model's own licence; no model is bundled. Pocket and SoftDOS ship no
cartridges, games or operating system files: they run whatever the user gives
them.
