• Any devnet-7 bugs to report
• Beacon API PRs #630. Can we merge both before DevNet 8? Jason Vranek / Shane Moore (SSV) / client teams
• Sparse blob pool (EIP-8070) Engine API changes mandatory for DevNet 8. Are we going ahead with this plan? There was an update on ACDT that the we might revisit this later — Bosul
• DevNet 8 launch readiness & timeline — Stefan has the spec sheet ready; target was early August

• EIP-8061 SFI decision — Increase exit/consolidation churn. CFI'd since ACDC Add call 86 #171, implemented and tested since DevNet-1, deferred SFI decision since May 28. Long overdue — can we SFI now? Pooja / testing team

Glamsterdam:

• First public testnet timeline - are we on track for september? With DevNet 8(the public devnet) planned for August, any blocking issues? Testing progression on track?

• Non-headliner EIP submission deadline — TODAY — Window closes August 6. New PFI requests raised on the issue, set the stage for what will happen today (Its a proposal window date, its meant to introduce a topic as a contender for non-headliner in the Hegota. Not CFI/SFI decision today on these EIPs, its merely to introduce the topic and give us the time over the next months to move them from PFI to CFI. For sensitive topics, we will do our best to flag when they are to be discussed.)

Hi all, I want to PFI these EIPs for Hegotá https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-8081:

EIP-5920: PAY opcode
EIP-7923: Linear, Page-Based Memory Costing

I realize these are EL EIPs for the EVM, but given August 6 before this call is the deadline to PFI those, I will therefore PFI them here in this ACDC call.

During this call, we can note that I want to PFI those, but we can defer the actual discussion to the next ACDE, with the explicit note that these EIPs are still "supposed" to be PFId.

(this raises the question or point: Hegotá meta EIP would then thus have the "final list of EIPs in PFI" after ACDE, and after ACDE has merged those EIPs, I believe we should formalize this somewhere, for instance in EIP-7723: Network Upgrade Inclusion Stages, so it is clear for the community as well)

Not crucial if there's time constraints, but I'd like to share an update to EIP7716 which is already PFI, to highlight some adjustments to the curve to address concerns about builder failure (raised by Potuz), and to ensure it has enough teeth to be worth the lift. I'm hoping to move the EIP from PFI to CFI due to support from core devs in chainsafe, sigma prime, and others.

If a rough consensus of client teams want to veto the selected mascot (as per EIP-8066), then I suggest that ACDC #184 is the best & last chance to do that. Flamingo would then be the mascot.
