Slack Workspace Setup — Paradise Planner HQ

Follow this checklist to create the agent-swarm corporate structure in Slack.

1. Create the workspace

  1. Go to slack.com/get-started
  2. Workspace name: Paradise Planner HQ
  3. Complete signup and invite yourself (and any human teammates)

2. Create department channels

Create each channel as public so Cursor Automations can subscribe to messages.

Channel Topic (paste into channel settings)
#vacation-hq Chief of Staff — post all new feature requests here; triage and delegation
#vacation-product Product — HQ delegations only (prompts, UX, lead fields)
#vacation-engineering Engineering — HQ delegations only (Flutter, Firestore, Functions)
#vacation-qa QA — HQ delegations only (test scripts, regressions)
#vacation-deploy DevOps — HQ delegations only (build, Firebase deploy)
#vacation-ops Operations — HQ delegations only (leads, SMS, partial leads)

Pin this message in #vacation-hq

How to request work

1. Post new features, bugs, and product ideas here as a new top-level message.
2. Chief of Staff triages and delegates to department channels.
3. React :arrow_forward: on delegated posts to start department agents (Phase 1).
4. Look for :white_check_mark: when runs complete.

Escalate to @vacation-leads if blocked or you need a human decision.

Pin this message in department channels (#vacation-product, #vacation-engineering, etc.)

Department channel — delegations only

Do not start new feature requests here.
Post all new work in #vacation-hq first.
Agents run on "Delegated from #vacation-hq" posts (:arrow_forward: in Phase 1).

3. Create the escalation user group

  1. Slack → People → User groups → Create user group
  2. Handle: @vacation-leads
  3. Name: Vacation Leads
  4. Add yourself (and any human decision-makers)

4. Optional: remove default noise

  • Mute or leave #random / #general if unused
  • Rename #general to #announcements if you prefer a single broadcast channel

5. Verification checklist

  • All 6 #vacation-* channels exist
  • Each channel has the topic set
  • Each channel has the pinned how-to message
  • @vacation-leads user group exists
  • You can post a test message in #vacation-hq
