AWI-ESM 3.4.2 in NHR@ZIB

it would be great to deploy AWIESM3-v3.4.2 (Jan's CMIP7 version for high-resolution simulations, TCO319L137-DARS2) on NHR@ZIB to reduce our dependence on Levante. If we can assist in any way we're happy to help.

Hi @FinnHeu,

I'm a bit delay with the work on Albedo, and that means also delays for starting the work on ZIB. The good news is that some of the things we are doing in Albedo will also be used for the ZIB integration. I'm confident I'll be able to start with ZIB next week.

An update here: I am prioritising the merge of the branch containing the updates from AWIESM3-v3.4.2 into release. In the background I am also doing pool work to prepare input data for Lise. At the moment my time and the HPC-team's resources are very limited due to an accumulation of unforeseen circumstances. That's where you see massive delays in the work for Lise. You could give it a try yourself, but the problem is that there are PRs that need to be merged before you can even give it a try because you'll need those features.

I'll let you know when I have an idea of a timeline.
