Carried over from PR #1 (feat/finish-goals). French and German alias sidecar seeds (58 rows each: class roots + depth-1 families, grounded against fr/de Wikipedia) sit deliberately inert at docs/drafts/i18n/ on branch feat/finish-goals (tip 9b2304c).
Gate: native-speaker sign-off, recorded like any decision (docs/traction-roadmap.md H4.6; docs/i18n-aliases-design.md). First-scrutiny rows nominated by the drafts README: A.Hng (calque in both languages; de also uses "Benkö-Eröffnung"), A.Van (Van Geet vs Dunst/Sleipner/Heinrichsen), D.STa (de form unconfirmed: "Halb-Tarrasch" vs "Semi-Tarrasch"). Also flagged: A.Ver de spelling, D.QGD/D.QGA fr wording.
Promotion path (4 documented steps): review, move files to catalog/, add locales to test_pilot_locales_exist, green tests, commit as a reviewed lot. Note the ca/es pilots on main have not had native sign-off either — H4.6 completes ca/es to the declared core tier before adding languages.
