I wonder if you would consider adding something like this to dos-parallel. I would like to build a Larson scanner (https://www.yoctopuce.com/pubarchive/2018-02/larson-scanner1.gif) (https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/article/larson-scanner) that will attach to a parallel port mostly for testing purposes but also because I think they (larson scanners, not parallel ports) look cool.
