User rating & subsonic sync

Hi,

First of all - thanks for the wonderful piece of software, I switched from Navidrome due to your sleek & No-nonsense multiple artist support.

I listen 95% on Android (Symfonium) and one thing I miss Is to have user ratings and have them synced on the server.
Would it be possible to implement?

Lms does support setRating from OS API: https://opensubsonic.netlify.app/docs/endpoints/setrating/
@Tolriq is that what you use to set/sync ratings?

Maybe you are talking about ratings saved in tags? This is not supported as lms only reads music files, it does not modify them.

Wonderful!
I am talking about user ratings not ratings embedded in the Metadata.
However I can't find any user rating on the web interface hence I thought it is not supported (tried rating & checking multiple songs).
Where do I find the rating on the standard webui under :5082?

Ah indeed it is not exposed in the UI. As I want to keep the interface sleek, I did not find something satisfying yet

Ah, im glad then! Always a little paranoid about possible data loss (local ratings).
I find Tolriq's solution quite sleek on the lists

Yes I use that and it works with LMS.
