Serve freezes after a while on WSL Ubuntu

I'm using Ubuntu 20 on WSL 2.0.9.0 Windows 23H2 with npm 21.4.0. Env (for making autobuild work): CHOKIDAR_USEPOLLING=true

After a while of continuous use, entu-ssg serve and node times out when updating a file. I have to restart WSL in order to restore working state.
