As a follow up of various discussions with ELIXIR management, it was agreed to rename the FOSP into PDP: Pathogen Data Platforms. Could you please rename the website and update the text accordingly? Thank you.
For your info, the rationale for renaming is that within a country, there might be several data platforms, maybe one for human data, one for veterinary data, hence not a single One Health platform. Not all might focus exclusively on surveillance either. However, we aim that all the PDPs are federated within an International One Health Pathogens Portal (IOPP), which is truly One Health since data from all the PDPs would be accessible from that portal. We also wanted to remove the notion of Federated as apparently in some regions, this notion is not very appealing. So now we speak more of a distributed network of PDPs and a IOPP.
