Drag and drop an app window into the workspace switcher

Problem

The new workspace is super nice but I would like to see some nice functionality for controlling what window is in what workspace. Right now the only ways I know of are going to the muiltitasking view and dragging the window to the spaces at the sides of the screen, or the keyboard shortcut. With the old multitask mode you could drag a window to another workspace to move it but that isn't possible anymore.

Proposal

Would love to have the workspace switcher always able to receive a window drag and dropped onto it, whether a user is in the multitask view or not!

I'm going to move this because elementary/gala#2512 seems to suggest this is actually a Gala issue

I'm not sure exactly if I understand this right but you should be able to drag a window in the MultitaskingView to the workspaces in the dock like with the old mtv? You can't drag to the last one yet though (the always new one)

Yeah D&D to a new workspace would be really nice. When I originally wrote this up I was also trying to drag and drop without being in the multitasking view for quickly organizing windows. Always seeing the workspaces gives me the impression, personally, that I can always interact with them.
