So I was printing a few things on one plate and have had issues with 1 or more objects failing (stringing, support not adhering to bed, etc.) So this time I printed by object instead of by layer, so I would at least have some successful prints and waste less plastic on partial prints.
On the last object it was failing on the support, so I stopped the print (see image where I stopped the print). This caused the head to abruptly go to its home position on X/Y without lowering the bed.

Point of cancelling print
This caused a collision where the nozzle hit the print which was between where the head and the home position was and bent the hot end. The fan-part of the head also popped off.
Firmware should really make the bed lower (more?) after manually stopping the print to avoid the head colliding during XY homing. Or stop it from homing after stopping the print. A completed print correctly lowers the bed midway to take the print out, but a manual stop doesn't. Currently on the latest firmware.
