Notices

This file is used to record notices required by the Community Specification License 1.0, including:

  • Implementer notifications (Section 2.1.3.3) — implementers indicating their acceptance of the License
  • Exclusion Notices (Sections 3.1, 3.2, 9.7) — Contributors excluding specific patent claims from the license commitments
  • Withdrawal notices (Section 2.3) — Contributors withdrawing from the Working Group

Trademark

"Electrification Bus" is the name used by this project to identify the specification and the open framework it defines. A US trademark application for the term is pending; no claim of registered mark is made at this time. Implementers and third parties may refer to the project by name when describing their products' compatibility with or use of the specification.

Document Licensing

The repository is licensed under the Community Specification License 1.0. As a deliberate exception, the files under extensions/ (the energy.ebus.* Homie extension documents) are each licensed under CC-BY 4.0 instead. This matches the license Homie uses for its own extensions and lets an eBus extension be listed in the official Homie convention without relicensing. No other files are affected.
