Objective

Implement an optional Camunda 8 BPMN adapter with deterministic rule-worker boundaries, controlled-clock process tests, normalized trace projection, and version-migration evidence.

Acceptance

• PIC core remains usable without Camunda, Java, or Docker.
• BPMN orchestrates and preserves human tasks; substantive policy rules are not duplicated in gateways or DMN.
• Deterministic scenarios produce canonical-equal normalized traces.
• Token simulation and AI judge assertions are excluded from conformance evidence.
• Normal, exception, timer, incident/retry, human-task, and migration paths are tested.

Local spec and plan are authoritative.

• Requires Track: platform-neutral PIC process profile (pic_process_profile_20260714) #40 and one certified demonstrator from Track: adverse-incident management and open disclosure (adverse_incident_open_disclosure_20260714) #41 or Track: medicine regulatory and payer pathways (health_technology_pathways_20260714) #42.

Implementation home

Optional BPMN, adapter, process-test, trace, and migration artifacts live under subrepos/process-mappings/adapters/camunda/ during #50 incubation. Camunda remains absent from PIC core dependencies.
