Newest OCR version, and Virtual Cam, doesn't work! [FIXED SOLUTION, + AVAILABLE SUPPORT/ASSISTANCE, HERE!]

As the first part of the title says, newest OCR version does NOT work (V1.0.73). For start, it does NOT have the 'x64' and the 'x86' folder to even start (as mentioned in another issue here).
After copying those folders from the previous version (V1.0.72), to the new, it actually starts. But whenever a SMM2 level is being started, and the OCR SHOULD come up on the screen, it crashes. No error message or nothing, it just shuts down, every time.

So, it's trash! Use the previous version of the OCR (V1.0.72) instead, because that version ACTUALLY works!
(I used Windows 11, x64. OBS versions: 29.1.?, 30.0.2, 30.2.3 & 31.0.2 & 32.0.4)

As the second part of the title says, the virtual cam does NOT work (https://github.com/Avasam/obs-virtual-cam/releases) that is recommended on the OCR's page. Even tried both versions, neither works. Yes the OBS finds it, but the OCR program (both V1.0.73 AND V1.0.72) can NOT find it.

BUT when using the one that OBS recommend (https://github.com/miaulightouch/obs-virtual-cam/releases) it works perfectly!
Check for latest, stable, version of it! I still using version

Cam V2.0.11 for OBS earlier than V30.1 worked.
Cam V2.1.2 for OBS newer than V30.1, and my current OBS V32.0.4, works!
The OBS/OCR program finds that virtual cam and it all works with no problem at all.

NOTE: When I uploaded OBS (V30->V31, and V31->V32), I had to RE-INSTALL the virtual cam, still the V2.1.2, for it to OBS to find it. Might be this for EVERY time you upgrade OBS!!!

So, use the V1.0.72 OCR, and the virtual cam OBS suggest!

Regarding customization, do note that you do that on files ON YOUR OWN COMPUTER!!!
Took me days to get that info from someone, thought you needed a program, or edit in a browser, and was so confused how/where you use the '.\web\drambar' to access it, when that's your computers folders... Just saying, it should been stated! 😂

Support/assistance doesn't exist for this anymore. Sadly...
I know a little about it, I have (successfully) changed some programming of it, and used it since beginning of 2024, and still using it.
So if you want, you can write a comment here, and I'll see if I can help you.

I’m having a tough time getting it to work I guess because OBS now has a integrated Virtual cam, so when I right click the “Video capture device” and go to “Filiters” they’re no “virtual cam option”. So my OCR comes on it just doesn’t capture any information, have you found a fix for that?

OBS has "always" had an integrated virtual cam, but doesn't work for this topic.
When a new version of OBS came, V30(?), the 2.0.11 version I linked is now TOO OLD, so doesn't work. There is a newer version of it, 2.1.2, which I also had to upgrade to, to make my OCR work again.

After you installed it, open OBS and your capture-card's filters, and it will now be in there.
I haven't upgraded to OBS V31 yet tho, I'm still on V30, lol. Guess I have to, to see it works with V31 too. More upgrades, more problems, haha.

I decided to just downgrade my OBS and add the new camera as suggested above (OBS 2.1.2), it DID in fact work and is now showing up as a filter option so THANK YOU.

Now of course, I have an issue of it still not registering my lvl information. I’m on “OBS-Camera” on the MarioMaker 2 OCR, I’ve added the filter to my video capture device but the OCR is blank. Any trouble shooting?

Edit *I do have the Mario maker on and active on a lvl

Edit 2 *Found a fix, once everything was started up I went to the OCR, went to file then went to “preview window” seen it was in fact connected to my capture, exit out the lvl I was on then went to a new one with the preview screen open then POOF the OCR kicked in.

I actually just now upgraded my OBS to newest version, the 31.0.2, and I had to RE-INSTALL the virtual cam for OBS to find it, and use it, again.
Might be like this for every OBS-upload, no idea. Still put a note about it in my OG comment.

So you should have no problem using the OCR when upgrading OBS back up to current version :)

Tho you should not be needed to have the OCR program's 'Show Preview Window' open, it doesn't need that to be able to work.

Not trying to be evil/nasty here... But do you mind deleting your #88 issue comment (#88), that you got helped with here? If more people need help, if, my comment is on the top, to find it easier before they add a New Issue comment. IF that's okay with you? I'm just asking :)
Since there's NO support on the OCR, anywhere, I added 'available support/assistance' in my title, with the little I know of it, and can happily help if I can😅

I installed obs-virtualcam-3.1.0 and MarioMaker2OCR_1.0.72 today.
He can work normally now, but I have encountered a new problem:

The page can display normally.

However:
http://localhost:3000/drambar
http://localhost:3000/mariobar
Unable to function properly, they display:

{{ctrl.state.level.code}}

{{ctrl.state.deathCount}}

Didn't you read the title? The Cam you use is the one that's recommended by the creator of the OCR, from 'Avasam', right?
Yeah, that doesn't work! You gotta use https://github.com/miaulightouch/obs-virtual-cam/releases instead! Version 2.1.2
So remove the broken one you have, and install THIS one, and it should work!! Let me know :)

I found three different styles after startup,
Only smmbar can be used,
The other two types (drambar and mariobar) will be displayed as:
{{ctrl.state.level.author}}
{{ctrl.state.level.name}}
{{ctrl.state.level.code}}
{{ctrl.state.levelTimer}}
{{ctrl.state.deathCount}}
This is because the file references Google's CDN resources.
I am unable to access Google in my region.
I have found a solution.
