Reve announced that its public API will fully shut down on Friday, August 14, 2026. New API onboarding has closed, and only previously approved API users retain access through the shutdown window. Reve also stated that processing full refunds for unused paid credits will begin on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Because reve_ai is a client for that upstream API, the gem cannot remain useful or meaningfully maintained after the service shuts down. The project is therefore deprecated, no further feature development or maintenance is planned, and this repository has been archived as read-only.

Published gem versions have not been yanked. Keeping them available avoids unnecessarily breaking applications with locked dependencies and ensures new installations receive the deprecation warning.
